Hey AXL fam, it's Abby!
My spin journey began over 8 years ago, riding alongside my mom. A huge shoutout to her for being my first spin buddy and sparking my passion! We used to wake up at 4:30 am for our 5 am classes—yes, it sounds crazy, but it was so worth it, and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. Those early morning commitments set the tone for my dedication ever since.
When I moved to East Boston, finding the right spin studio was crucial. I wasn't just looking for a place to work out; I wanted a community, a vibe that felt like home. That's when I discovered AXL. From the moment I walked through those doors, I felt the energy buzzing—a welcoming haven where I knew I found my people and my place. AXL's dynamic environment was more than just sweat and adrenaline; it was about forging friendships, exchanging support, and sharing a passion for pushing limits.
After diving into class after class and loving every moment, I decided to take the leap and apply to be an instructor. And here I am now—making that decision was the best move I've made. I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of this amazing community, and I can't wait to ride with all of you!
When I'm not teaching or taking classes at AXL, you'll often find me exploring Boston's food and drink scene, always hunting for hidden gems (send me your favorites!). On weekends, I'm either on the pickleball courts for some friendly competition or unwinding with family and friends.
Music Type: I enjoy a mix of genres, but lean towards EDM and timeless pop classics.

Fun Fact: Back in college, I missed out on studying abroad in Italy due to Covid—such a bummer! But since graduating, I've been satisfying my travel bug by jetting off to as many countries as possible. Recently, I visited Madeira, this incredible Portuguese island in the Atlantic—it's like Europe's version of Hawaii! Highly recommend checking it out!
